Residents: What do you recycle?

We want to hear from you about what packaging and paper you recycle.

Recycle BC Targets

In Recycle BC’s current Program Plan, we identify material-specific recovery performance targets for Paper, Plastic, Metal and Glass. In addition to establishing targets for these four major categories, Recycle BC has set recovery performance targets for rigid and flexible plastic subcategories. We also continue to have an overall recovery target of 75%. Recycle BC is the first jurisdiction in North America to have material-specific reporting and targets for packaging and paper.

We are conducting a resident survey so we can better understand which specific accepted materials are not being set out or dropped off for collection, and why. This will help us identify present barriers and future opportunities to collect more Recycle BC program items. We want to ensure as much packaging and paper recycling is collected from BC residents as possible.

Whether you’re an all-star recycler or a not-so-great recycler, we want to hear from you! Be part of the solution; complete the survey below.
