Recycle BC will be hosting its Collectors’ Conference on April 8 and 9 at the Anvil Centre in New Westminster. This conference is an opportunity for us to reconnect with one another, learn about new industry trends, innovations, Recycle BC operations and what’s to come in the future.
Conference sessions will be a mix of plenary and workshops. Topics include end-market information, packaging trends, addressing contamination, tracking and reporting greenhouse gas emissions, a review of Other Flexible Plastic Packaging for depot operators, showcasing the latest sorting and processing technologies, and more. We have reserved time before the conference starts on Monday, April 8 between 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. for collectors to meet one-on-one with each other or with any Recycle BC team members. Please indicate if you wish to have a one-on-one meeting on the event registration form and we will be in touch to schedule the meeting. Please note that these meetings are on a first come, first served basis. There will also be time throughout the conference to speak with Recycle BC team members.

There is no cost to attend the event. We have reserved a block of hotel rooms for out of town attendees at Inn on the Quay across the street from the Anvil Centre. Please reference ‘Recycle BC Collectors’ Conference’ when booking.
