Five years ago, Recycle BC began operation as the province’s recycling program responsible for residential packaging and paper product. In that time, we’ve expanded our service area throughout the province, increased the number of depots residents have access to, and set an example of how extended producer responsibility (EPR) can improve recycling systems.
Recently, we hit a milestone and recorded 1,000,000 collected tonnes!
This milestone is only achievable thanks to the continued efforts of all BC residents to recycle their packaging and paper with Recycle BC at home and through our depot network. Like we say, “Together, we can make a difference.”
