No one likes litter on the trail so this camping season Pack Lean, Leave Clean. Whether you’re escaping the city for the day or staying overnight and sleeping under the stars, plan to minimize your waste by bringing your recyclables back with you.

Flexible plastics, like plastic bags and energy bar wrappers, can be dropped off at participating depots on your way home, and containers and paper can go in your home recycling or to a depot.

The Pack Lean, Leave Clean campaign from Recycle BC is designed to raise awareness about opportunities for visitors and residents of British Columbia who enjoy outdoor recreation to recycle their packaging, specifically flexible plastics.

We value the opportunity to learn and share experiences on this traditional territory. The Indigenous communities were the original stewards of the environment, and they continue to fulfill that role today. We are proud to both collaborate with First Nations as well as commit to that work ourselves.
