Depot joins Recycle BC program to accept Packaging and Printed Paper
Residents in Surrey are now able to take their packaging and paper recyclables to the Panorama Village Return-It Depot, without charge, as it joins the Recycle BC network of more than 200 depots.
Panorama Village Return-It, located at Unit 112-15157 Highway 10 in Surrey, accepts all materials in Recycle BC’s residential packaging and paper recycling program, including non-deposit glass bottles and jars, plastic bags and plastic foam packaging, along with curbside recycling materials such as newsprint, cardboard, metal containers, plastic containers, spiral wound cans and paper packaging that held liquid when sold, such as coffee cups and soup cartons. The depot accepts materials dropped off during regular business hours, Monday to Saturday, 9am-6pm, Sundays, 10am-5pm, closed holidays.
“We want to provide Recycle BC depots that accept packaging and printed paper at various locations throughout communities to help residents recycle more” said Allen Langdon, Managing Director of Recycle BC. “This will help to ensure all materials that can be responsibly recycled are, including materials not accepted in curbside recycling like plastic bags, foam packaging and glass.
