Recycle BC ensures household materials are collected from households and depots, sorted and responsibly recycled. Our program is funded by over 1,200 businesses that include retailers, manufacturers and restaurants that supply packaging and paper to BC residents, shifting costs away from homeowners.

New Squamish Recycling Depot Opens on September 26, 2024

Recycle BC is thrilled to announce that the Squamish DOX Recycling Depot is set to open in Squamish on September 26, 2024. This new facility will offer the residents of Squamish and the surrounding areas a more convenient and efficient way for residents to manage their recyclables, making it easier than ever to contribute to our community’s sustainability efforts.

What You Need to Know:

Opening Date: September 26, 2024

Location: 40446 Government Road, Squamish, BC, V8B 0P9

Hours of Operation: 9AM-4:30PM, 7-days a week

This new depot joins a network of more than 200 depot locations across BC where residents can drop off residential packaging and paper free of charge.

We are grateful to live, work, and be in relation with First Nation and other Indigenous people from across many traditional and unceded territories, covering all regions of British Columbia. The Indigenous communities were the original stewards of the environment, and they continue to fulfill that role today. We are proud to both collaborate with First Nations as well as commit to that work ourselves.
