Recycle BC is hosting Pop-Up Recycle Depot events on select dates to provide a convenient drop-off option for household recycling.
- Residents can bring materials like foam packaging, flexible plastics, mixed containers, paper and cardboard and glass bottles and jars for free, with no limit on the amount.
- Sort your materials before you come or use the depot’s sorting bins.
- Only residential materials will be accepted (materials from businesses or industries will not be accepted).
Recycle BC is excited to continue to offer the Parksville Pop-Up Depot recycling collection events this year, to Parksville and area residents. The events will be held on Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at address: 1080 Industrial Way, Parksville, in partnership with the Parksville Community Centre Society (PCCS). These events will save residents from driving to Nanaimo or sending this material to the landfill and will help move the community a little closer towards Net Zero Waste!
