About Us

In British Columbia, recycling programs are managed by a number of stewardship agencies who offer cost-neutral solutions for recycling. 13 of these agencies have come together to create a project specifically relevant to Indigenous communities who are interested in learning about the steps required to start and maintain recycling programs.

While the FNRI is provided support from all 13 EPR Product stewardships it also works closely with the Indigenous Zero Waste Technical Advisory Group (IZWTAG) for day-to-day community engagement.
