Recycle BC is excited to announce three new depots for residential recycling in the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George (RDFFG).
What You Need to Know:
As of September 16, 2024, the following depots have been added to Recycle BC’s program to support residents with new residential recycling services:
- The Mackenzie Select Waste Landfill and Regional Transfer Station, Mackenzie
- Quinn Street Regional Recycling Depot, Prince George
- Valemount Regional Transfer Station, Valemount
These sites will operate seven days a week and will accept more categories of materials than before.
The Accepted Item List:
- Flexible plastics
- Foam packaging
- Cardboard, boxboard, and printed paper
- Plastic and metal containers
- Glass bottles and jars

These new depots join a network of more than 200 depot locations across BC where residents can drop off residential packaging and paper free of charge. To find a depot location near you, download our app or use the depot locator on our website.
