In 2018, Recycle BC provided reliable and convenient packaging and paper recycling services in BC and continued to build and strengthen effective partnerships, lead new recycling initiatives, uphold program performance and maintain financial stability.
Report highlights:- Over 183,900 tonnes of Recycle BC’s packaging and paper product was collected, amounting to a recovery rate of 78%.
- Over 1.85 million BC households received curbside, multi-family and depot service.
- 98% of households had access to depots.
- Recycle BC welcomed the City of Powell River, District of Squamish, Township of Langley, Squamish Lillooet Regional District and Thompson Nicola Regional District to our curbside recycling program.
