Reminder – September 16 Deadline for Submitting Packaging and Printed Paper Collector Response Forms

September 16 is the last day for local governments, private companies and not-for-profit organizations to submit a response form indicating whether they will accept MMBC’s financial incentives to collect residential packaging and printed paper (PPP) at curbside (in the case of local governments), from multi-family buildings and/or at depots.

To accept the collection incentives, complete the Collector Response Form.   Additional information to help local governments, private companies and not-for-profit organizations make decisions about whether to accept MMBC’s collection incentive is available on the Service Providers page of the Multi-Material British Columbia (MMBC) website.

Local governments that wish to decline the curbside collection incentive are also asked to complete the Collector Response Form by September 16.  MMBC will then prepare a request for proposals (RFP) to deliver the curbside collection service.

Following the September 16 deadline, MMBC will also prepare a request for proposals for post-collection services.  This RFP will include a list of the collectors that have accepted the collection incentive by September 16 and the areas for which MMBC is issuing an RFP for curbside collection services.

Local governments, private companies and not-for-profit organizations that have questions or need assistance in completing the Collector Response Form may contact MMBC by email at info@multimaterialbc.ca or by calling Maura Walker at (250) 597-7997.
