Holiday greetings from MMBC

‘Twas the night before Christmas and all through the house,

Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.

Gifts sat under the tree, all wrapped up with care,

Tomorrow packaging and printed paper will be everywhere!

What to do with that plastic, this paper, that box?

Recycle them, of course, but please, not those socks.

We can’t accept some things, like bows and gift wrap with foil.

Why, you ask? Yes, they’re packaging, but the recycling they’ll spoil.

We’ll take most residential packaging and printed paper, including paper gift wrap,

We’ll take cardboard and plastic, both containers and caps.

New TV or kitchen appliance? We’ll take the foam,

But like plastic bags, we won’t take it from your home.

These go to the nearest depot to ensure that they

Are recycled in the best, most efficient way.

One last thing, have you checked if your schedule has changed?

If your pick up falls on Christmas it might be rearranged.

(Download our app and never miss a pick up.)

Stay safe and warm and remember to recycle this holiday!
