On January 18, 2013, Multi-Material British Columbia (MMBC) released a request for expressions of interest (REOI) for post-collection services. MMBC is seeking to understand, through responses to the REOI, the capability and capacity of the available post-collection services. MMBC will consider the information provided in the responses when preparing a request for proposals to provide PPP post-collection services following the launch of the Packaging and Printed Paper Stewardship Plan in May 2014.
If you are currently consolidating, transferring, transporting, processing or marketing packaging and printed paper (PPP) collected from BC households, please consider responding to the REOI by providing one electronic copy by 4:00 pm PST on Friday March 1, 2013 to consultation@multimaterialbc.ca and four bound copies by 4:00 pm PST on Wednesday March 6, 2013 to:

The REOI is not a procurement step and REOI submissions will not be evaluated. Companies are NOT required to respond to this REOI in order to be eligible to respond to the RFP for post collection services.
Also on January 18, 2013, MMBC posted a draft updated list of PPP to be collected on January 18, 2013. MMBC welcomes comments on the list of PPP by email to consultation@multimaterialbc.ca by March 1, 2013.
